Arts High School

Mind, Body, and Spirit Unite in Art, and in Life

About Our School

With a long and distinguished history, Arts High School was the first public high school for the arts in the nation. The artistic flagship of the NBOE, today’s Arts High offers rigorous artistic and academic programs for grades 9-12, enabling post-secondary matriculation to many of the best institutions in the country. Arts majors are offered in dance, drama, music, TV and media, and visual art.

Unique Fact

While primarily an arts school, Arts High’s traditional academic program also offers Honors, AP, and Dual Enrollment at nearby universities. Students are eligible to elect another Arts
form as a minor.
