About Our School

Newark Vocational High School offers scholars a renowned academic experience with professionals that will help you “soar to new heights.” Whether you choose Culinary Arts, Hospitality &Tourism or Graphic Design, our 4-year Career & Technical Education guarantee that scholars will have the necessary skills to succeed in their selected career pathway. Scholars will have the opportunities to explore and develop their talents both within and outside the classroom. We are a unique high school with amazing opportunities to offer you, through various job opportunities. Co-curricular activities include athletic programs, student council government, anime/manga, photography, newspaper, boxing and many more clubs.

Unique Fact

Our 9th and 10th grade scholars participated in the Prudential Actuary Science program typically for 11th graders. For the FCCLA competition our 11th graders won 2 gold, and 1 bronze medal. Another 11th grader won the Newark Stand & Deliver competition for 2022. Newark Public Schools District Print Shop on premises.

*Newark Vocational High School is among the new schools that Superintendent León has opened or reopened since his appointment in May 2018.
