About Our School:
Newark Vocational High School offers scholars a renowned academic experience with professionals that will help you “soar to new heights.” Whether you choose Culinary Arts, Hospitality &Tourism or Graphic Design, our 4-year Career & Technical Education guarantee that scholars will have the necessary skills to succeed in their selected career pathway. Scholars will have the opportunities to explore and develop their talents both within and outside the classroom. We are a unique high school with amazing opportunities to offer you, through various job opportunities. Co-curricular activities include athletic programs, student council government, anime/manga, photography, newspaper, boxing and many more clubs.
Unique Fact:
Newark Vocational High School is home to the first-ever Red Rose Chapter in the Newark Board of Education, and NVHS has earned this honor two years in a row. Fittingly, the red rose is also FCCLA’s official flower.
