Our Child Development Center is the cornerstone of The North Ward Center. Established in 1975, The NWC Child Development Center has provided more than 5,000 preschoolers with an excellent education. In partnership with the Newark Board of Education, the NWC Child Development Center is providing Newark children with their first educational experience in state-of-the-art
surroundings. We have 40 preschool classes that educate 600 three and four year olds with fundamental learning skills.
